Teeth cleaning is very important and everyone should be brushing their teeth at least twice a day and floss once daily. Teeth cleaning can reduce your chance of having decay, cavities and gum disease. So with that in mind, it is important to see your dentist for a 6 monthly regular scale and clean. During this routine check up and clean the dentist is able to use their special dental equipment to remove any plaque and tartar where regular toothbrushes can’t. The dentist is able to perform a physical examination to check, monitor and pick up any signs of oral health problems. With early detection on oral health problems, the dentist will be able to treat the issue and avoid any major dental work or even tooth extraction.
